The Academics Services Division seeks to support and enhance the efforts of our schools and Graduate Durham! 

 

We believe that every student’s education is enhanced by having access to a broad range of subjects and curricula. We work with teachers and principals to make sure that they have the supports they need to offer the highest quality learning opportunities.

Our district has adopted a few high-leverage strategies and programs to ensure that every student, in every school graduates from high school prepared for college, career and beyond.

DPS is committed to improving school options and developing innovative programs that will benefit students, employees and the community. Whether it's lengthening the school day, launching new programs in our schools, or providing extended learning opportunities our district initiatives aim to improve each student’s learning experience and yes, Graduate Durham!
