ACADEMIC ADVISORY

Our goal is to build collaboration and hear directly from those that we provide services. The purpose of the Academic Advisory committee is to create a structure to gather input, advice, and support around key instructional initiatives in the Academic Services Division.
The committee is comprised of principals, assistant principals, instructional facilitators, and teachers. The Advisory will assist in:
-
Elevating the level of discussion about curriculum, articulating a sequence of instruction, assessment and support for all students;
-
Reviewing and recommending instructional materials and resources
-
Reviewing and recommending intervention programs and alternative programs based on expectations for student success; and
-
Reviewing assessment data and recommending modifications as warranted
